Experience the surroundings
From tranquility to adventure
The dramatic landscape around Kullaberg offers unique natural experiences.
Take a picnic to one of the mountain’s impressive viewpoints. Discover caves, hike along the cliffs or visit Nimis, Lars Vilk’s spectacular artwork on the smugglers’ old beach. Krapperup’s estate has an exciting history connected to the Ruthållargården. Here you can stroll around the beautiful park around the castle, which was built in the mid-16th century.
But Kullabygden is more than just fantastic nature and history. There are also many opportunities to experience art and ceramics, visit farm shops and charming small fishing villages.
Hike along Kullaleden
Kullaleden is a 70 km long certified hiking trail that stretches around the entire Kullahalvön, from Helsingborg to Utvälinge.
Along the way, fantastic views of the Öresund and Skälderviken, beaches, picturesque villages and Kullaberg’s dramatic rock formations and caves await.
Cycle Kattegattleden
Sweden’s longest tourist cycle route, the Kattegattled, passes through Kullabygden on its route between Gothenburg and Malmö.
Cycle as short or as long as you want, as close to the sea as possible. Discover vineyards, farm shops and art studios along the way.
For those who prefer mountain biking, there are great opportunities at Kullaberg, in both easy and more difficult terrain.
Swim from rocky cliffs and sandy beaches
Dressed in a bathrobe, you take an early morning walk, like a typical Arildsbo, down to one of the village’s many bathing spots for a refreshing morning swim. Tussans, Lockens Grund and Svensnäset all have their own character. There is no better way to start the day.
Along the coast in Kullabygden you can swim from sand dunes, pebble beaches and rocky coasts. The coolest bathing spots are found at Kullaberg. Ablahamn, Kärringmalen and Josefinelust are coves cut into the bedrock that offer bathing experiences far beyond the ordinary.
The most famous bathing spot in the area is perhaps Ransvik, a popular bathing spot near Mölle. Here you will also find Solvik with its pebble beach.
If you prefer a sandy beach, Farhult is just a short drive away. On Kullabygden’s widest sandy beach, a play-friendly and shallow beach awaits.
Play golf in world class
When you stay at Rusthållargården you are in one of the world’s most densely populated golf areas. In northwestern Skåne there are 31 golf courses within a 40-minute drive. Here you can play golf almost all year round and several of the courses are among the best ranked in Sweden.
We offer golf packages at S:t Arild GK and Mölle GK, which are our closest clubs.
